This album, Awareness, contains songs about my concern for the earth and its treatment. About the abuse of wildlife, the environment, and the greed of human beings.
Take your time and listen to the lyrics; you might get inspired to do something for the environment and human beings. The melodies on this album are a swampy, ragged mix of a boiling pot, and you can” taste” the blues, the Latino, the dead man’s waltz.
Even the small village church is present. The musicians contribute by adding their style and creativity to shape and form the arrangement

When I started working on this album I had around 50 songs.
I thought I was making a typical Americana album, but it turned out different.
My love for folk music, and the fact that the beautiful musicians added so much their soul into the songs turned it into the genuine complexed album it is.
American,Spanish, British and Norwegian influences.
No one was told what to do. They did what they felt like doing.
Today I call it a Folk album.
It is build upon storytelling. The lyrics are essential in this album. Every song has the lyrics written first.
It is about environment, religion and love.
